Bran Castle, the inspiration for Dracula’s castle in Bram Stoker’s 1987 classic horror story, is for sale.
The castle dates back to the 13th century and is located in the Transylvania region (of course!) of Romania.
The castle was used as a defense against the Ottoman Empire in the 1400, and it also served as royal residence of the King of Romania in the 20th century.
Bran Castle is a popular tourist destination in Romania and reportedly receives around half a million visitors every year.
The castle is up for $80 million, but the sellers are open to negotiation.
If you’re really into clickbait and waiting forever, here is the original source.
Sorry, but I’m not licensed in Romania.
