This does come up when it’s time for the home inspection process, and you will have to sign an information sheet, and if your target home was built prior to 1978, you’ll have to complete a disclosure too.
Lead Based Paint is kind of a big deal.
It may or may not be something you are personally concerned about.
They put lead in everything back then. But the paint is a problem when it flakes off and it gets absorbed into your system. The most common way is little kids, sticking the flakes in their mouth.

Hire a cleaner, and soft-hire a junk removal company (if we need them, we can call them). Pre-schedule them for around Closing Day.
We might be able to do it the day before, if everyone agrees to it.
Here are some criteria to consider:

- Lead time for scheduling (If they are booked a month out, that’s not going to work for us, ya’ know?)
- Their communication level with you as a potential client.
- Reviews & Ratings
Specialty Offerings vary wildly, and you may, or may not, actually need them.
Figure out now if you’re paranoid about this particular thing, and make sure they offer that! If not, we should line up an expert in that field now too.
