Out-Of-Pocket expenses will include things like:

  • Earnest Money Deposits (aka Escrow)
  • Home Inspections
  • Cleaners
  • Junk Hauling
  • Movers
  • Utility Deposits

If you’re shopping in a Home Owner’s Association or Condominium scenario:

  • Estoppel Fees
  • Application Fees (not all HOAs or Condos have these)

And most loan types require a Down Payment, but this is handled at the Closing Table. You will still need to have those funds available!

For now, hold on to as much cash in the bank as you can.

As you research these, start building a basic budget outline so you know what to expect later.
