Short Term Rental Across from John’s Pass Village
I should totally do a real estate listing related post every once in a while, right? How about a beach front condominium unit? That’s on-brand for me. 😎
Here’s a listing from fellow Future Home Realty Associate Cydnee Haydon:
This is a fully-furnished 1 Bed, 1 Bath unit at just under 600 SF (yeah, tiny!).
But it’s a great income opportunity via Short Term Rentals (STRs) with a 5-Day minimum rental.
The Condo Assessments are $596 / month, and it’s directly across from John’s Pass Village!
“This fully furnished beachfront Madeira Beach condominium unit is located directly across the street from World Famous John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk with fine restaurants, shops, entertainment, water sports, and fishing.
This 1 bedroom and 1 bath condo offers an open floor plan and great living space with a kitchen, dining/living combo, and master suite.
Community features a heated pool, laundry facilities, WiFi, common BBQ area, shuffleboard, and assigned parking.
This investment generates great short term rental income with on-site management or can be used full-time or part-time.
Nearby attractions include wave-runner rentals, deep-sea fishing, parasailing, boat rentals/sailing, world-class museums.
Five-day minimum rentals. Turnkey furnished with strong rental history.”
360 Tour Available here (fair-warning – it is painfully slow to load):
While not categorized as a “Condo-Tel”, it’s going to be very difficult to get traditional (owner-occupied) financing for this condominium unit. There are a large number of absentee owners, and an on-site management office.
That’s okay, there are other options, including investment financing available.
Work your numbers well.
Investment financing usually carries a higher interest rate, and bear in mind those Condo Assessments at $596 a month.
However, you should have no problem renting it at a respectable profit.
Plus, you’ll have a lovely beach front retreat when it’s not rented, right?
