I’m a native Floridian, and I love it here. But I admittedly have thin blood, and much prefer the warm summer water to the cool (okay, cold to me) winter water.

And I do love the water, ever since I was a toddler. I spent much of my childhood at my grandmother’s house, swimming in her pool.

So naturally, I’m drawn to this idea – using geothermal energy to heat a pool in the winter.

While the installation in the video is for a much larger set up (4 pools at an HOA or Condo), the general principle is the same. Warm water, year round, with a built-in cost savings.
