The MLS now allows 100 photos.

Last year, the MLS updated to allow up to 50 photos. This year, it’s doubled.

Home buyers (well, shoppers too), get ready for a slew of really artistic shots of faucets and doorknobs.

Do I hate this move?

In a word: Yes

50 was overkill. Even for mansions and estates.

100? Yeah, there will be a lot of agents pushing hard to fill that up. Which, in turn, will clutter up all of the viewing platforms, like Realtor.com and Zillow.

The positive point? It will make those of us who understand what actually should be done it look like absolute rock stars.

After all, the whole point of the photos isn’t to show every closet and shelf, it’s to entice potential buyers that this is a property they want to look at in-person.

What do you think? Is more better? Or is it overkill?
