One US Air Force Veteran, dedicated to helping fellow Active Duty Military and Veterans use real estate to better their lives.
Yes, even the Coast Guard.
(Although I'll never admit they are a legitimate branch of the military.)
I was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
My second hitch I got paid the same to stay on the ground, in an office, and push papers as the Education & Training Manager for the 30th Security Forces at Vandenberg AFB in California (much better job!).
Being a geek, it was tremendously cool to be stationed at an active Space Command base, with amazing rocket launches on a regular basis.
It didn't hurt to be in tight with the Security Forces. I could always get front-row seats. Wherever the final cordon area was, I could roll right up to it and sit with the detail. Absolutely spectacular views.
Now that it's been declassified, I can finally brag about my assignment as a Space Shuttle Door Gunner!
As any veteran will tell you, I may not miss the Bravo Sierra but I definitely miss the camaraderie.
I will always be passionate about helping my brothers and sisters, both Active Duty and those of us rocking that DD-214.
I break it down Barney Style.
And we get to dog on each other properly.
Seriously though, your VA Home Loan benefit is powerful.
I'm here to help you learn how to use it properly.
Bonus points that we can use horribly offensive terms with each other and not bat an eye.
And if you think that GI Bill paying for your college is a good benefit, check out my articles below about using the VA Loan program!
You can be a fresh boot or 80 years old and still use it repeatedly.
That’s the #1 surprise for most veterans.
Unlike the GI Bill, the VA Loan is absolutely reusable.
The real money is in the VA Home Loan program.
And no, I don’t consider $55 to be ‘real money’
